Our neighbours and friends of many years, Dousanne and Trudi, live temporarily in Grenada. Then they take care
of our house and garden. Trudi is Swiss and Dousanne lived in Switzerland for 30 years. If you wish they will support you in organizing your
daily life and provide you with tips for excursions.
Most groceries are available in Sauteurs, the small town close by. Besides many rum-shops there are a post office, banks, doctors and a
pharmacy. Located here and close by are simple restaurants preparing local food. Some of them are situated in the old plantation houses of
the English. More extensive shopping possibilities as well as a big fish marked can be reached in about a half an hour by car, in Grenville.
The products in the shopping centers of the capital are of European/North American standard. Several restaurants are recommendable in the
picturesque city of St. Georges.
